Frequently Asked Questions

1. Are there reception hours to observe?

Yes, and they depend on the period of the year. Please consult the information page of the hostel.

2. Is there an age limit?

No.

3. Is it possible to book ahead?

Certainly, and it is advisable to do so, especially for some periods of the year and if you are a group. Please read our Booking Conditions carefully and book preferably through the form that you can find on this site. You can book by fax or letter as well.

4. Do we need any membership card?

No, you don't need any memebership card to stay in our hostel, but an identity document is necessary to check in. Underage guests without any valid document must be accompanied by an adult.

5. We are a boy and a girl, can we sleep in the same room?

You can, if you already are 18 and if double rooms are available. Usually, in hostels providing accomodation in dormitories, males and females are separate as a sanitary and privacy measure. Usually, groups of friends made up by both males and females who are at least 18 can sleep in the same dormitory.

6. In many hostels the guest is requested to do some tasks, is it the same in yours?

In our hostel the only task requested of the guest is to make the bed at the arrival, to strip it before leaving, and, obviously, to keep the room and the bathroom tidy.

7. What is included in the price for a night?

Breakfast buffet, sheets, blankets, hot water, heating, taxes.

8. What is not included in the price?

Towels.

9. What do the meals consist of?

Breakfast: Our buffet breakfast consists of bread, butter, jam, muesli and/or cereal, yogurt, fruits, cheese, salami and a choice of hot drinks.

Hot meals: lunch and/or dinner are prepared only for groups and on reservation. They comprise a first course of pasta, rice or soup; a second course of meat (or fish or eggs), vegetables; fruits and bread. The menu changes day by day and is the same for everybody. It is decided by us but it is possible to come to an arrangement. For an additional charge other kinds of menu can be requested. The meal prices do not include beverages.

Cold meals: Our hostel can prepare a packed lunch. In the lunch bag you will find 2 sandwiches, chips, cake, fruit and a soft drink. Contents can change on request.

10. Do your hostel organizes any activities?

According to requests of schools or other organized groups we can arrange itineraries, excursions, guided tours and more.
