Booking conditions and discounts
N.B.
Booking conditions and current prices are understood as accepted and
subscribed entirely at the first booking request. The management
reserves the right to update and/or change them at any moment: in this
case, for those who have already booked the same prices and conditions
will be kept which were valid at the time of
booking.

Option:
- Our Booking Centre will
give an option possibility (that is, the last date by which the
reservation must be confirmed). In the case in which the booking is not
confirmed by means of the requested deposit payment or in other cases
if a written confirmation (by letter, fax or e-mail) will not follow
the booking request by the expiry date of the option, the Booking
Centre will cancel the reservation without giving any communication.
- The Booking Centre guarantees that it will
answer (by fax or e-mail) booking requests within 2 working days from
receipt (the date of the postmark will count for letters).
Tarifs:
- The
current top rates which can be consulted on the information pages of
the hostel, are those which have been notified to the competent
provinces: normally these prices are valid all the year round and are
visible at the reception desk as well as in each room.

Deposit and balance:
- As
a final booking confirmation for stays of short duration (up to a max.
of 15 nights) an advance deposit payment by credit card for the first
night is required (detailed instructions will be communicated on
confirmation of booking). For final booking confirmation for longer
stays a deposit of at least 30 % is required which can be paid by
credit card, bank draft or postal order. If the deposit is not paid by
the due date indicated by the Booking Centre, the reservation can be
cancelled without further communication.
- The deposit is not refunded if cancellation of the
booking occurs 30 days or less before the arrival. For cancellation
notices received up to 30 days before the arrival, a sum equal to 10%
of the services booked will not be refunded.
- The balance for the entire stay is effected at the
arrival, if not differently agreed upon at the time of booking. If for
whatever reason the stay has to be reduced and departure date brought
forward 30% of the services not utilised will be retained.
Reductions and free charges
- Free charge is granted for a group of 15 paying guests (by "paying guests" we mean guests that occupy a bed).
- In the case of bookings totalling the fee equivalent of more than
15 nights a discount of 3% is offered for those who pay in advance the
the services booked. To take advantage of this discount opportunity,
full payment should be effected at the moment of confirmation of the
reservation.
- Reductions and discounts which haven't been advertised will be be
applied and agreed upon separetely for each case, usually for groups
and stays during the low season and for a long period.
Alterations to the booking
- Any
change in the number of the participants (including subdivision in
male/female, even for the accompanying personnel) must be communicated
in writing (by letter, fax or e-mail) as soon as possible: more
accomodations cannot be afforded automatically. If the services booked
and confirmed by deposit are then cancelled by more than 10%, the
penalty provided for booking cancellation (see paragraph "Deposit",
point 3) will be applied proportionally.
- Meal reservations or alterations to same must be
communicated in writing (by fax or e-mail) at least one week before the
start of the holiday. The compliance to any change notified less than
one week before the arrival cannot be guaranteed and it will be
satisfied only if our internal organization can arrange it.
Complaints
- Any
inconvenience, remarks and criticism should be notified to the
management as soon as possible by phone call during the stay or in
writing after the stay.
- Claims reaching after one month from the end of the stay will not be considered.
- The management undertakes to answer relevant communications
within one month from receipt and eventually to refund monies paid for
services booked but unreceived due to specific faults and
responsabilities of the personnel in charge, or for those services
regularly cancelled by the indicated terms (see paragraph "Deposit",
point 3).
Privacy Guarantee
The
information requested is indispensable for allowing the booking process
to be carried out efficiently. Telephone numbers, addresses (postal or
e-mail) will not be inserted into any form of data base, nor will they
be distributed to third parties, but will be utilised exclusively for
procedural correspondence between parties up until the time of arrival.
Upon completion of stay and payment thereof the above information will
not be further utilised for the sending of any kind of communication
unless explicitly requested.
